Register For A Writing Workshop
FAQ
Once a ticket has been purchased, it is nonrefundable. However, you may apply your ticket toward a future writing workshop or another event and/or service that I offer, whether virtually or in person.
Are tickets refundable?
Yes, workshops will be hosted on a monthly basis on Sundays. Given that I’m just getting back to the States, getting grounded, and beginning to offer in-person experiences again, I’m starting with a six-month streak of these workshops. My hope is for them to evolve and expand over time, including bringing additional creators on site as vendors or practitioners, and eventually traveling to other locations based on demand and collaborative opportunities. That said, it’s important for me to ensure there is clear demand and that each gathering remains sustainable.
Will workshops be hosted monthly?
It is absolutely understandable if you do not want to consume marijuana, even though it is an element of this workshop that helps ensure surrender when letting go does not come easily on its own. This is why I’ve included my supplemental Kundalini Yoga practice—also known as my Homecoming practice—for those who prefer not to be under the influence. This practice can provide just as profound an effect over time, and in some cases even the very first time. When marijuana is consumed ceremonially, however, it allows resistance to fall away more readily so you can meet us back on the living grid.
What if I don't want to consume marijuana?
Yes—all workshops are currently being held in the DMV area. While specific venue locations may vary slightly, my intention is to keep them as consistent as possible so participants can plan and coordinate travel with ease.
Looking ahead, I do plan to expand into other states as collaborative opportunities arise. This will allow those who have been eager to participate—but are unable to travel to the DMV—to join future workshops closer to home.
Are all workshops being held in the DMV?
No, you are not required to share your journal prompt responses. The open panel discussions will consist primarily of me expanding on the intention behind each question and offering my own personal reflections, as I always do.
If you choose to volunteer and share what you wrote, that will be the only circumstance in which you are invited to speak publicly or be placed in any kind of spotlight. Otherwise, you are absolutely welcome to keep your responses private.
Do I have to share my answers to my journal prompts aloud?
If you’re enrolled in the monthly General Admission subscription and decide you’d like to upgrade to VIP for a specific month, simply message me directly via email at NikholRei@gmail.com. Once you do so, you’ll be able to pay the remaining $300 separately to access the VIP experience and one-on-one time with me; as VIP participation is not offered as a subscription option.
What if I registered for the monthly admission subscription option, but want to do VIP registration for one of those months?
Yes, there will be a dress code. However, there will be more emphasis on colors that reinforce feelings of safety rather than to execute a particular vision.
Additionally, details such as the venue address and any other preparation-oriented information will be shared in our Telegram group chat, where the 30 registered participants will gather. This space will be used to communicate everything you need to know in the days leading up to the workshop.
Will there be a dress code?
No, there will not be a virtual option if you are unable to attend in person.
This is a deeply immersive experience, and I am committed to protecting the privacy and intimacy of the space. I do not want participants who choose to share personal material to be heard or observed by individuals who are not physically present to experience the container alongside them.
Most of my work over the years has been virtual, and I am now responding to a deeper calling to connect primarily and intentionally in person. I believe this level of embodied presence will bring my line of work full circle as well.
Will there be virtual options if I am unable to attend in person?
Yes. If you paid for General Admission or VIP Admission, you are entitled to receive the journal as well as access to the writing prompts, regardless of whether you were able to be physically present.
You are welcome to use the journal for future workshops and work through the prompts on your own time. You may also choose to attend a subsequent workshop as a VIP registrant and work through prompts you completed independently with me in private if you feel called to and if the themes align.
If I don't make it to the in-person workshop despite registering, will I still get a journal and access to the writing prompts?
If you’re unfamiliar with my background, please click the button below to learn more about the 7+ years I worked as a psychospiritual analyst and karmic advisor, the frameworks I developed, the fieldwork I offered prior to my retirement on December 31st, 2025 and the ways that work can still be accessed post-retirement.
You’ll also gain context around how these workshops weave into my Substack publications, the themes I choose for writing workshops, the inclusion of my Homecoming Sessions, and the meaning behind many of the excerpts featured on the workshop landing page. This will also clarify why these workshops are intentionally somatic, and why that distinction matters compared to a traditional writing workshop.
What if I am unfamiliar with your past works and discovered you more recently? Where do I go to learn more prior to attending these workshops?
