Spiritual Baddies is a streamed series on KICK where hand selected women challenge the way the world views us in hopes of encouraging viewers to see the full range of spirituality and womanhood beyond positivity and healing.
You don't have to be healed in order to be spiritually powerful.
Let’s face it, as women, we like to be seen. We like to be looked at by men, as well as other women. We like to be witnessed whether we are shaking our asses, tending to our gardens, taking care of our children or accomplishing a personal goal.
The Power of Witness is the primary reason that social media platforms are so powerful: because everyone’s innate desire to be seen is being fed.
And as subscribers and viewers witness us navigate triggers, desire, pleasure, sexuality, and rebellion, which are all spiritual experiences, we hope to expand their minds & sprits when it comes to the reality that the imbalances we see in "society" are due to the overt shaming of women — the ultimate scale balancers when left to not only our softness and nurturing, but our inherently wild nature.
And it does not have to be exploited — nor do we have to degrade ourselves — to thrive.
Transcendence of “The Bad Bitch”:
As you can see, despite how toxic and dysfunctional shows like “Baddies East” are, people still watch them because women in their lowest, most spiritually unclean state are still, somehow, a sight to see. Women are powerful beyond reason, no matter which polarity we sway to — and I personally believe we have enough spaces where our toxicity and insecurities as woman are being capitalized off of.
I not only want to shatter the illusion work that seems to be required in order to be considered a baddie — I want to shatter the illusion work that “conscious communities” have curated when it comes to defining a “spiritual woman” and spirituality altogether.
Everyone is spiritual — but our spiritual rank is distinguished by our quality of breath & our relationship with the sacred vehicle carrying us through this visceral experience: the body.
Each Season Will Represent The Lessons & Themes That Reflect The Karmic Cycle of The Group As A Collective
Where exposure, getting money, ratchet shit and closing karmic cycles can coexist.
Yes, we are going to be outside. Yes, the space will contain sex workers. Yes, we will be shaking ass, drinking and indulging without shame. Yes we will cry/release together. However, what makes this series different from anything anyone has ever seen is the fact that what will be intentionally highlighted is each cast member’s ability to alchemize and integrate their lower nature (and all associated traumas) so that we, as a collective, can dismantle the ways in which toxic patriarchy continues to misrepresent women.
